A robust piece of crafted furniture, for use both indoors and out. Fashioned from durable, handsome French oak, whose natural oils lend it resilience in all weathers.
An unfussy form belies the bench’s carefully conceived design. When viewed in profile, its top – split to allow for easy drainage of rainwater – reveals a subtle V shape for comfortable sitting. With stainless steel fixings telling the story of its construction, its minimalist appearance enables it to be at ease in various settings – whether under a tree in the garden or as part of a dining set in the home.
Natural, non-toxic waxes finish the bench and enhance the colour and patination of the wood grain which, if kept outside, will mellow to a fine silvery grey over time.
