Experienced Maker

In this role you will be an integral part of the carpentry team, working on a range of interesting projects, building cabins, saunas and furniture. A good understanding of construction and workshop carpentry is vital.

We are looking for competent all rounder carpenter with a broad knowledge base, and with experience on fixed machinery and hand tools and be able to work efficiently and to high standards.

Requirements

At least 4 years carpentry experience within the industry.
Proficiency with hand and machine tools.
Understanding of timber construction and joinery.

Duties/skill/knowledge

Deliver high quality work within allocated time-scales.
Ability to work with tools and machinery safely & with precision.
Experienced with construction carpentry.
Have a good understanding of joinery if possible.
Eager to learn and develop new skills.
Ability to use your own initiative.
Work well under pressure.
Enthusiastic and hard working.
Work well as part of a team.

Dependant on experience.

Term

Permanent position subject to initial six-month probationary period, starting ASAP.

Location

Staverton, Nr Totnes, South Devon.
