Creating with us is easy.

The first step to getting your bespoke project off the ground is an in-depth consultation with the Out of the Valley team, whether in person, over the phone or via email. We talk through your plans, inspirations and budget, and put together a rigorous brief. If needed, we may also arrange a visit to your chosen build site.

We will cover some of the following:

  • Project aspirations
  • Site / location
  • Materiality
  • Energy
  • Desired timeline

We take to the drawing board to design your ideal build, translating your brief into engaging plans, models, images and moodboards that help you really get a sense of how the finished project will look and feel.

We will explore some of the following:

  • Practical needs of the space
  • Materials & Tones
  • Connection to surroundings
  • Thermal efficiencies

Once you’ve given us the green light for your build, we can get to work handling all the boring (yet necessary) administrative details for you. Our experienced team can manage everything from securing planning permission for your project to seeking building regulation approval on your behalf.

In the planning stage, we will also agree on:

  • Project scope
  • Deliverables
  • Build timeline
  • Budget
  • Payment plan
